1. Compliance Status
This website and associated public-facing services are partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA due to the non-compliances listed below.
Our secure, login-only platforms used exclusively by business clients are outside the scope of the European Accessibility Act, which focuses on publicly available services for consumers. However, we continue to consider accessibility improvements across all platforms where reasonably practicable.
2. Non-Accessible Content
Despite ongoing efforts to ensure accessibility, some content and functionality do not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
Non-compliance
- Some PDF documents and downloadable resources are not fully accessible, for example lacking appropriate tagging, document structure, or text alternatives.
- Certain interface components, particularly within secure or legacy platforms, may present challenges for keyboard-only navigation.
- Some non-text content, such as images or icons, is missing appropriate alternative text or uses non-descriptive labels.
- In limited cases, colour contrast and focus indicators do not fully meet minimum accessibility requirements.
Disproportionate burden
- Full remediation of legacy secure systems would require significant redevelopment effort. Improvements are being prioritised and delivered as part of ongoing platform enhancements rather than immediate full replacement.
Content outside the scope of accessibility regulations
- Third-party tools, widgets, and integrations that are not fully controlled by Creditsafe may not fully conform to accessibility standards. Where possible, we work with suppliers to encourage accessibility improvements.
3. Preparation of the Statement
This statement was prepared on 27 November 2025, following an accessibility audit and internal review using automated testing tools alongside manual review.
The audit identified accessibility issues across both public-facing websites and secure platforms. These findings included a mixture of structural, content-related, and usability issues. Remediation is ongoing, with critical and high-impact issues prioritised and addressed as part of our continuous improvement process.
