Find out about the latest updates on the financial agreement data we hold on UK companies.

Chapter 1

File Conversion tool now available

Released: January 2026

We are pleased to let you know about our File Conversion tool, designed to make CCDS data sharing easier.

We understand that extracting the data can be challenging. With this service, you can provide your data via a formatted Excel sheet, and we will convert it into the CCDS format for you. Please note that this service incurs an additional charge.

If you would like to add this to your account, please contact your Account Manager.

Chapter 1

Real-time Finance Agreement Data now available in API

Released: November 2025

You can now access real-time updates to our finance agreements data via our API.

Until now, updates were provided once a month, typically on the 25th, reflecting the latest month’s data. With this enhancement, you’ll receive continuous updates as soon as banks and alternative finance providers send new information to us. This means you’ll always be working with the most up-to-date data available, helping you make faster, more informed decisions.

To enable real-time updates, please contact your account manager or email us at [email protected]

Chapter 1

Name change to Loans in Finance Agreements

Released: January 2025

There has been an update to Loans in the Finance Agreements tab within company credit reports, released on January 28th 2025.

Previously, the Finance Agreements tab categorises facilities into Current Accounts, Credit Cards and Loans. The change in January will update the tab named "Loans" to "Other Financial Items".

There are a broad range of facility types such as finance lease and mortgages, with additional facility types being added in the future. By changing the name to "Other Financial Items", this will ensure the facility types are categorised more accurately.

Chapter 1

Deprecation of API bankData / afpData properties

Released: January 2025

As of January 2025, we will be deprecating the bankData and afpData properties that CCDS API users may currently be accessing. These updates have been made to ensure that you access the most up-to-date information through our new “history” and “footprint” data objects, which are available now.

To access the history and footprint data, you will need to update your mappings – further information can be found in the document below.

Chapter 1

Finance agreements data now available on UK company reports

Released: Q2 2024

You can now better understand your customers' finances with our NEW "Finance Agreements" data.

Our new Finance Agreements tab on UK company credit reports contains detailed information on commercial finance agreements (credit cards, loans and current accounts) supplied by major banks and lenders as part of a UK government Commercial Credit Data Sharing (CCDS) initiative.

To qualify for access to full finance agreement data, you must conduct credit searches with the intent to provide financial products such as a loan or asset finance.

Customers that do not offer financial products can access summarised financial footprint data showing the number of agreements we hold on a specific business, which is ideal for confirming a company is trading and has a current account, loan or credit card.

Chapter 1

Finance Performance Indicator now available

Released: Q1 2024

We’re pleased to announce the launch a new section of data to our Financial Agreements tab, which has been added to the Performance Overview section.

The Finance Performance Indicator predicts the likelihood of a company defaulting on payments within the next 90 days. The indicator is updated monthly, and a full history is displayed via the website (where the data is available). It ranges from 0-9 (0 being most likely to default, 9 being least likely) and are linked to Red-Amber-Green scores.

The indicator takes into account all facilities data we have available for a company and can help you to quickly assess if they are likely to miss any future payments.
