About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a team of senior product specialists at a junior level, with the opportunity for progression.

Initially, the role will consist of assisting the Compliance Product & Sales Director for our AML/KYC product suite with a view to branching into other products in future.

The job role will consist of managing a pipeline of opportunities, training and supporting sales staff with product knowledge and assisting with sales. You will be responsible for assisting with specialist product knowledge on calls with some of our largest customers and prospects.

You will also be tasked with facilitating training sessions, as well as assisting with new product launches and driving product uptake with new and existing customers via our sales and account management teams based across the UK.

To be successful as a product specialist, you must have a passion for the products you work with and keep expanding your product knowledge. Outstanding product specialists should have a keen eye for spotting market trends, a willingness to inspire clients, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key responsibilities

  1. Supporting sales with product knowledge.

  2. Answering all product-related questions.

  3. Organising workshops and refresher courses for sales.

  4. Planning and assisting with new product releases and events.

  5. Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.

  6. Identifying new market opportunities and relaying this information to the manager and other relevant stakeholders.

  7. Making helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue.

  1. Experience in sales or customer service would be advantageous as the role is customer-facing.

  2. Organisation skills and attention to detail are a must.

  3. Articulate and able to perform demonstrations that engage and inspire.

  4. A self-starter who seeks out opportunities to improve the product footprint without needing to be led.

  5. A strong growth mindset.
